Now we do not take demon possession lightly, and in no way intend for this to be a criticism of Trisha’s spiritual life per se. But what we discovered provides an insight into the character of Trisha that many have noticed just seemed to be a little “off”, and now I think we know why.
As most who have followed this site know, we have meticulously detailed the goings on of anti-fundamentalist groups, such as Do Right Hyles Anderson, and have written extensively about the false claims that they have made in our recent article on the Jack Schaap arrest, and the occultic overtones in a group Trisha attempted to create called Fundamental Revolution.
As with virtually any person with an axe to grind, there’s always more to the story than what we see on the surface. I personally believe that Trisha has demonstrated characteristics of severe narcissism, and her willingness to embrace several different religious philosophies only complicated her spiritual life. Then I read her personal story on another website. And that truly explains a lot about why Trisha’s character is the way it is now.
Trisha’s story is actually a very sad commentary. I read it with an open mind, not looking for anything to crucify her with, but with a curiosity as to what made this woman so bitter.
For Trisha, her war against the IFB is a very personal one. Since the article is published on another website , I will not repeat too many specific details of her story from there. Nevertheless, it was a tragic story, and one that any honest, God-fearing Christian can be sympathetic about. As Christians we frequently overlook what others have been through, and often only see the “hateful” persons victims of abuse have turned into (if in fact, that is what has happened). Our first reaction is to defend our beliefs when they are attacked, and others who share those beliefs with us, and we see the accuser as a person with a specific agenda intended on defying God and turning those away who believe in God. A personal crisis can certainly be the spring-board that leads to such angst towards God and Biblical doctrines, but underneath it all is still a hurting person that has yet to find the peace that passes all understanding in Jesus Christ alone.
Although Trisha’s story did not involve sexual abuse, it did involve what I would certainly consider an abusive home. After reading through all of the horrible things she endured, something else caught my attention in her story, and that is when she attributed her “resurrection” from the old Trisha, to what she is today, to a woman named Alara in 2011.
Alara is a psychic operating out of Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition to offering psychic readings to help her clients “connect with loved ones” (a medium), she offers a variety of other blatantly occultic services such as Chakra balancing, metaphysical teaching, and angel card readings. Alara has used the language of the Freemasons and Jewish Occult in comments such as:
The above image and below the eye is an ascension vehicle known as the Merkaba. It is spoken of in many ancient texts. It is a vital force of sacred geometry.
Merkabah is Jewish occultism and “sacred geometry” is at the heart of Freemasonry (hence the Freemason symbol of the compass and the square, with the capital letter “G” symbolizing geometry).
On Alara’s blog is the following comment left from Trisha Lacroix:

The Bible states in Deuteronomy 18:10-12
There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
Not only is the practice of witchcraft, mediating (See the Witch of Endor story in I Samuel ch 28), consulting with familiar spirits condemned by God as an abomination, but is a sure way to subject oneself to demonic possession. Many victims of demonic possession, and one that I have personally heard where a demon spoke through a teenage girl, all had a few things in common, and that was consulting with occultic practitioners, opening themselves up to the demonic realm willingly.
The Bible makes it clear that those who practice divination and soothsaying (psychics, future predictors or “fortune tellers”), are demon possessed. Acts 16:16. And Ephesians 4:27 warns us not to give place to the devil.
Trisha Lacroix admits that her “success” and the success of her group is all attributed to Alara, the psychic. Alara was her “teacher, healer, and mentor” and Trisha was just her “tool”.
Thus even though Trisha has a very tragic personal story that surrounds her childhood, she is in far more danger than she realizes with the open invitation she gave to Satan and his host of demons to influence and possess her.
I’m sure those who friend and defend her will simply brush this off, and of course those are the people who do not take God’s word about the spiritual wickedness in high places seriously. Eph 6:12.
It would be my hope and prayer, that Trisha realizes that she has willingly opened herself up to the demonic kingdom, and that only Jesus Christ, not Buddha or Alara, nor Vishna, nor the writings of the Book of the Dead or Bagavhad Gita, can deliver her from the oppression that is only going to get worse. If Trisha thought events in her childhood were bad, she is totally unprepared for the damage that Satan intends on doing since he was invited to invade her. Satan is a thief that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. John 10:10, and the longer Trisha avoids dealing with this issue, the greater Satan’s stronghold becomes.
And he [Jesus] said unto them, ” I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven”. Luke 10:18
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Revelation 20:10.
Only the power of the cross through the blood of Jesus Christ can defeat the devil and his angels. Rev 12:11. I truly hope that those that have likewise subjected themselves to such practices that offer an open door to the devil into their lives would seek the face of Jesus Christ for the victory that He has already obtained over evil, and of which He gives such abundance of life freely.
On a lighter note, Alara should have told Trisha we were going to write this!
